YOU ARE HERE AKA THE MAZE ist eine zweiwöchige Festival-Installation im Kunstraum Westgermany Kreuzberg. Ein lebensgrosses Labyrinth wird in den Raum installiert in welchem Performances, Live Musik, Ausstellungen u.a. stattfinden. Die einzelnen Tage des MAZE werden von unterschiedlichen Künstlern und Veranstaltern aus Berlin kuratiert/programmiert. 

Das MAZE ist eine aktive Installation, welche das in ihr geschehende beeinflusst. Die Beziehung zwischen Performer und Publikum wird durch die Verwinkelungen des Raumes aufgebrochen und umgelenkt.   

Die Idee stammt von der New Yorker Künstlergruppe TROUBLE, die das Projekt im Juli 2012 das dritte mal in ihrer Heimat umsetzt und gemeinsam mit einer Gruppe lokaler Kulturschaffender im September nach Berlin bringt.

YOU ARE HERE AKA THE MAZE is a two week festival-installation at the Westgermany arts space in Kreuzberg. A life-sized labyrinth is installed in the space in which performances, live music and exhibitions take place. Every day at the MAZE are being hosted/curated by different people of Berlins art/music scene. 

As an active installation the MAZE influences/alters the performances by breaking up and diverting the relationship between performer and audience.

The MAZE was invented by New York based artist group TROUBLE who host the event bi-anually in NYC and will bring it to Berlin in collaboration with a group of local artists and promoters.

WICHTIG: Da die Kapazität im MAZE durch die räumliche Installation und die Art mancher Performances limitiert ist, können wir nur begrenzt freie Plätze vergeben - der frühe Vogel fängt den Wurm! Wenn du freien Eintritt zum MAZE bekommst setzen wir uns zeitnah mit dir in Verbindung um den Tag deiner Wahl mit den Plätzen im MAZE zu koordinieren.

IMPORTANT: Capacity in the MAZE is limited due to the installation and the nature of some of the events. We can therefore only give out a limited number of free admissions that are given away on a first comes first served basis. Once you got free entrance to a MAZE night we'll get in touch with you coordinating the night of your choice with the capacity.
